This is a report on significant progress reported to the Regents this summer, including:

Dramatic lowering of acceptance rate from 80 percent in 2003 to 43 percent in 2006; increase in endowment from $599 million in 2001 to $870 million in 2006; 1,300 students in the Honors College; significant physical plant improvements.
